Martindale Testing Machine Simulating Daily Use For Truly Evaluating Textile Durability
Description:
The UV Aging Test Lamp is a reliable device for conducting sunlight resistance tests on non - metallic materials in industrial applications. It is applicable to materials used in the chemical, pharmaceutical,
and biotechnology industries. Constructed with advanced technology, this lamp can simulate sunlight, humidity, and dew conditions. It can lead to issues like bleaching, loss of chemical stability, and powdering
in the tested materials, enabling manufacturers to ensure the quality and reliability of their products.
Working principle
The working principle of the Martindale tester lies in the fact that it subjects a textile sample to a rubbing motion with a specific abradent. The sample is under a controlled pressure environment, and the rubbing
direction is continuously altered during the test. As the test goes on, the abradent gradually wears away the fibers of the textile. The evaluation of the textile's abrasion and pilling resistance is achieved by comparing
the worn - out state of the sample with predefined standards.
